Coffee sourcing, plantation & production market is facing numerous challenges and opportunities. As one of the most popular beverages, the demand for coffee continues to rise. This demand brings to light the significant impact that coffee production has on the environment, especially when managed irresponsibly by large corporations. Coffee giants, although expressing their will to incorporate regenerative production, don't fully embrace it. That's why it's so important for the consumers, to make well-informed decisions when it comes to our everyday coffee choices!
I'm a big fan of third wave coffee roasters, that stand for high-quality coffee by improving every step of the process, from growing the coffee plant to brewing. Third wave coffee roasters pay attention to where they source the beans from, how farmers grow them and how to roast them properly. To help the responsible coffee roasters attract more clients, I created a coffee packaging, that's modern, colorful and eye-catching. So that an everyday habit of drinking our coffee becomes a special ritual, to be celebrated and enjoyed daily.
For this project, I embraced the use of bright colors and bold shapes. The depicted animals have simplified and stylized forms as well as highly expressive traits, complementing each coffee's name and theme. Every creature is set against a backdrop of bold patterns that evoke their natural environment or the specific theme of the coffee. By merging these elements, I created a cohesive visual language that pairs unique coffee flavors and names with corresponding hues, fauna, and scenery, ensuring each piece is different, but all together they maintains a unified aesthetic.
Consumers play a crucial role in securing better practices in the coffee market. By choosing coffee that is sourced from farms practicing sustainable agriculture, we can incentivize more environmentally conscious approaches in the industry. This shift can lead to a decrease in the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides and promote practices that are beneficial for the planet.
